Gone Paintin' News
Wow, we have almost been open for 4 months...it seems like a lot longer than that.
There are still a lot of people that don't know we are in town and who come in and say
"what goes on in here". That is funny and we love to take them on a tour and show them around. Our birthday parties and private adult parties have been really wonderful.
We tried several times to have kids nights for painting and pizza but that just did not do so well. We are still trying to figure out how to best meet the needs of Clinton with what our studio has to offer. The Girls Scouts have come in. Every Wednesday Seniors get 25% off. We have some great ceramic technique classes starting on Tuesday nights. Our newest is Paint me a Story. Great for kids 5 and under. They can come in I will read them a story and then we will paint a piece of ceramics or canvas that corresponds with the story we read. This is great mommy/daddy and me time.
We also have a Mommy Camp on April 22 so mom's can get some time to have fun also. In addition to classess offered on our website calendar, every single hour we are open, Walk In's are welcome. It is open studio all the time. Don't be afraid to come in and paint, you don't have to know what you are doing, we are there to help, and we DON'T judge. We are not artists, we don't have an art degree, we are nurses, we are there to help and nuture you.
Tell your friends about us too. Word of mouth has been our greatest advertisement. We had a great sign up outside for about 3 days, then the wind storm took it down. Just waiting on another one.
We have just ordered out glass fusion supplies and are very excited to be offering that very soon. Stephanie and I are always thinking of new ways to do things, new classes to offer, so if you have an idea stop by or email us and let us know.
It has been a wonderful experience so far and we hope it continues.
Thanks to all who have supported us.
